Photovoltaic repowering in Braine-le-Château
Patrick had a solar panel system dating from 2012 that was showing signs of ageing. Rather than repairing it, he opted for a complete repowering: dismantling the old system and replacing it with a modern one.
We have installed 14 Canadian Solar panels, each with a capacity of 435Wp, to replace the old system. The difference is striking: the current panels generate significantly more power per unit area than those from thirteen years ago. A latest-generation Huawei inverter controls the entire system, offering improved efficiency and real-time production monitoring via the FusionSolar app.
Patrick also took advantage of this upgrade to install a 22 kW Huawei charging point, in anticipation of the shift to electric vehicles. This project clearly illustrates that a solar installation is not set in stone: it can evolve in line with changing needs and technologies.
